Introduction of Indian Folk Dances

Folk Dances of Karnataka

Yakshagana (Kannada:ಯಕ್ಷಗಾನ, pronounced as yaksha-gaana) may be a classical dance drama in style within the state of Mysore largely in style within the districts of Uttara South Dravidian, Shimoga, Udupi, Dakshina South Dravidian and Kasaragod district of Kerala. This theater art involves music, songs, dance, acting, dialogue, story and distinctive costumes.

Dollu Kunitha

Veeragaase dance
